The team is rapidly growing, changing, and adapting. We’re looking for a highly skilled Dev Ops Engineer to join our team of technical craftspeople. This role will work directly with the Chief Product Officer and Engineering Director, while mentoring and supporting other team members in delivering exceptional code.

Responsibilities & Core Competencies:

  • Learn. Be curious.
  • This role had a broad scope of development operations, but applicants should also not have a fear of digging into the code and contribute to development of features within our applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment
  • Investigate, analyze and make recommendations to the team regarding technology improvements, upgrades and modifications
  • Be accountable: take responsibility for your work, your commitments and your team.
  • Think critically, display logic, rational and objectivity when problem solving.
  • Stand on your feet: have a degree of comfort with working independently and with exposure to new situations and challenges.


  • Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Kubernetes, Elastic Container Service, Docker, or similar
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required)
  • Strong experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus, too, since we also use Redis)
  • A working understanding of code and script (Python/Node preferred)
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service\
  • Attention to detail and logical thinker
  • Excellent time management skills and experience delivering projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and attention to detail
